1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Quran Pods (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Quran Pods is
Quran Pods is an AI-generated audio companion to the Quran. Episodes (“pods”) are produced from Quran content sourced from Quran.com and Quran Foundation APIs and are augmented with AI-generated reflections and summaries.
3. Accounts
You may register with an email and password or by linking a Quran Foundation account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account.
4. Quran Foundation integration
When you connect a Quran Foundation account, Quran Pods accesses your bookmarks, notes, preferences, and reading sessions on your behalf, limited to the scopes you explicitly grant during the OAuth consent flow. You may revoke access at any time by unlinking the connection from your Quran Pods settings or by revoking authorization directly with Quran Foundation.
5. AI-generated content
Pods are produced by AI summarization and reflection over Quran text. They are provided for personal devotional and educational use only and are not a substitute for scholarly tafsir. Generated content may contain inaccuracies, and we make no warranty as to its religious or factual correctness.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to redistribute generated audio for commercial purposes without permission, and not to attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the Quran Foundation API quota, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
7. Availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
